On tap @ Maui Brewing. Poured a caramel color into a pint glass with an off-white head. Impressive aroma of coffee, cocoa, toasted nuts. Flavor of of macadamian nuts is very apparent with subtle notes of coconut that add some sweetness. Well-balanced brown ale with unique flavors. says "made with toasted mac [macadamia] nuts", a popular ingredient in food recipes in Hawaii (or at least on Maui). Almost opaque dark brown color, ssweet "musty" nose, sweet nutty flavor with more complexity than many brown ales. Very good for the style.
