On tap at the brewpub and was called mango weisen. Orange cloudy with moderate white head. Wheat citrus aroma and flavor. Hint of mango. Very refreshing. Interesting 6.5%, but didnít have alcohol mouthfeel.
Tap at brewpub. Pours light orange and cloudy with wispy white head. Aroma is mostly citrus fruit. Taste brings some mango but also some astringency that Iím not a fan of. A bit sprtizy on the palate and finishes a bit fruity along with that astringency. Not as good as the Mana by a fair margin. Dogbrick (12912) - Columbus, Ohio, USA - DEC 7, 2010
Sample at the brewpub. Pours a hazy tangerine color with a thin off-white head that evaporates to nothing quickly. Spotty lacing on the glass. Aroma of tropical fruit and wheat. Light body with a fruity character that does have some mango and melony notes, along with a touch of spice and wheat. The finish is fruity and clean with a sweet finish. Slightly above average overall. darrennelson12 (455) - Vancouver, British Columbia, CANADA - DEC 1, 2010
On tap at Maui brewing; color was mango/orange. Aroma of subtle spice and mango. The taste was a litle less of a weizen beer than I was expecting, as well the mango/orange was quite subtle. Overall an OK beer; not sure if it is more of a weizen or a fruit beer Capa (3251) - Kitsap, Washington, USA - JAN 14, 2010
Creamy orange in color with a white head. Sweet aroma with malts, mango, light citrus, some light spices, as well. Flavor was fairly sweet, too. Malty, mango, some orange, and very light spices. Refreshing and easy drinking in the warmth of a Maui afternoon. My girlfriend really enjoyed this one and we ended up with a growler of it in our fridge.
