Tap at brewery: Light caramel color; nice and frothy head. Malts had nice elements of nuts and caramel. Loved the hop profile, which was grassy and earthy. Aromas made me think of marijuana. Flavors made me think of hemp seeds. Nice pale. JohnC (3008) - Mission Viejo, California, USA - AUG 19, 2007
On tap at the brewery. I think that this is a very good APA. Nice hoppy aroma, with good flavors of malts and hops. In a blind tasting, side by side with other well respected APAs, I would guess that this brew would hold its own

Draft at brewpub. Golden yellow with a nice head. Hoppy aromas and flavors. Citrus and some grassiness. One of my favorites of the night. ElGaucho (2401) - Minnetonka, Minnesota, USA - FEB 21, 2007
Draught. Good hop aroma. Slightly hazy copper amber. Thin, slightly off-white head. No lace. Very nice balance. Sweet and hoppy. Wonderful APA. Most APAs are watered down IPAs; this one stands on it’s own. A very nice beer. Alphadelic (2249) - Portland, Oregon, USA - MAR 18, 2009
Draft at the Brewpub:
A crisp , pale-golden ale with a taut and cheeky white head.
Big, sweet hops with citrus fruits giving it a real zingy aroma.
Lovely balanced fruits and wholesome cereals. Deliciously in your face. Bitter but in a mellow way.
Very crisp and light with a tight tingle on the tongue.
Very tasty and drinkable if not the most remarkable ale. Bright and zingy. Good to go for a while. changeup45 (1731) - Lake Mary, Florida, USA - APR 12, 2008
UPDATED: SEP 11, 2008 Went to Fish & Game for lunch and unfortunately only got to try this one beer (would have loved to sit there all afternoon and sample...). Copper color with a nice foamy head. Fruity aroma with a touch of hops. There seemed to be a nice amount of hop flavor in this for a Pale Ale. Slightly bitter bite with floral notes making it great for the 80 degree weather they were having that day (and pretty much everyday). Would love to have it again but not sure if that’s going to happen... JCW (1278) - Cincinnati, Ohio, USA - APR 13, 2004
Drink a few of these while on vacation in Maui,HI. Very good Pale Ale. Draught. Amber colored, moderate white head. Piney aroma and a hoppy flavor. I'm pretty sure it was hoppied with cascade, the bartender thought it might even have been dry hopped with cascade. It had enough malt(crystal?) to back up the hops and make it a fine pale ale.
