On tap at the Brewery with Patty during the light rain from that Ana Storm passing thru the Island chain. Dark pour with no head or lace. Over whelming wine/grape aroma. Same with the flavor of the Pinot Noir over whelming the beers other flavors. I’m not a wine fan so I was not able to appreciate the flavor as much as others. The ABV is warming. On tap at Oakquinox. Not sure where my ratings disappeared to (its checked off as if I uploaded it from my notebook). Pours with a hazy bronze body and a small tan ring. Fruity aromas, esters, cherry, plum, red wine (smells cabernet to me). Vinous. Flavors are fruity (estery) a touch chalky (weird), red wine, cherry. Very chewy. Vanilla, candi sugar. A: The pour is a mahogany color with a finger of off-white head.
S: Smells intensely of coconut to me. A lot of vanilla to it with a fair amount of wine. Quite a bit of caramel and toffee, some brown sugar too. Dark fruits, mild spice, and a touch of tart cherry.
T: Sweet malts and fruits with just a mild tartness to it. Caramel, toffee, and brown sugar sweetness along with a nice vanilla flavor. Some decent wine notes and a fairly strong oakiness.
M: Medium in body with a medium level of carbonation.

Oakquinox. Dark orange, tan head. nose is light fruits, Cabernet grapes, vanilla and oak. Flavor is grapes and grainy malt and oak, pears and apples linger. Medium body and carbonation. A very unique variant that works well with wine barrel aging, quaffable and complex!
