On tap @ The Lab Brewing. Aromas of bead, yeast, and vanilla. Pours a dark gold with a decent foam top. Slightly smokey body with flavors dough, oats, yeast and nuts. Some faint floral hops on the finish. Overall, a nice pilsner with pleasant drinkability. I’d give this a B- rating.

On tap at Maui brewing; poured nice Golden brown. Taste was very low body (almost none) with really no taste. I would say not very good and mild for a good Czech pilsner ... would not buy again

Draft @ The Lodge in Tampa Palms. Crystal clear pour with a thin white head. Crisp and clean aroma and flavor. Paired well with a sushi roll.

Clear, light copper color with foamy head. Minimal lacing. Grassy aroma with hints of ginger and wood. Light, crisp taste with a touch of spice. Not strongly flavored. Minimal aftertaste, slightly astringent. Pleasantly mild and tasty. [BW 12]

Bottled. A golden beer with an off-white head. The aroma has skunky notes of brewing cereal combined with malt. The flavor is sweet with notes of straw, malt, and some brewing cereal, leading to a dry and lightly bitter finish.

VTHopHead (1511) - Seymour, Tennessee, USA - MAY 3, 2009
Draft - Poured a darkish golden amber in color with a thin white head that quickly disappeared. Aroma is slightly of grassy hops and little else. Flavor is also not that strong and offered only some small hop flavor and bitterness. Finishes cleanly. Not much here...

Primo 7/9/08 (bottle. Pours a clear, bright gold with a white head that quickly dissipates. Smell of biscuit, grain, and grass. Kind of macro grungy. Flavor is sweet and relatively inoffensive. Still not altogether pleasant though. Some skunkiness, but still better than an American macro. Just barely.

estoppel (1028) - Buffalo, New York, USA - APR 19, 2008
Draft at the brewpub. Not much nose, golden body, white head. This had a vegetal character that detracted significantly. Some bready malts in the finish. Not good.

2008 - Hawaiian Beer Run
Aroma – Light lager aroma with very light hops in the background.
Appearance – Light golden color with a small head and clear as a bell.
Flavor – Light flavor this was a easy drinking hot day beer. Very light on flavors but the masses will love this beer.
Palate – Nice Mouthfeel, easy to drink finished dry.
Overall – Primo is back and will do very well with the old masses who want tot try it again. Very light flavors this was a mass crowd swilling brew.

Sampled at the brewery in beautiful Maui. Interesting style that had little effect on me. Tastes of malt and slight hint of hops. Very little sweetness in the taste as well.
