I had this on tap at the brewpub in Ka’anapali. I thought that this was a pretty tasty stout. anders37 (27062) - Malmö, SWEDEN - JAN 20, 2012

Pours black with a brown head. Aroma is toasted malts, roasted coconut, coffee, liquorice, a bit barrel quality feel to it, cocoa beans and eart. Taste is liquorice, you get some hops, coffee, hard roasted malts, bready and a dry mouthfeel. phredrik (1024) - Copenhagen (formerly Aalborg), DENMARK - DEC 21, 2011
Text book stout pour. Aroma is lovely with black currants, dark berries, toasted coconut, very roasted, chocolate, coffee, actually it smells barrel aged with coconut and vanilla, cocoa, mave even a woody hint. Taste is a bit of a let down after that amazing aroma. Hard roast, tending towards the sour roastiness, cocoa, sour dough, coffee, bready, hoppy in the finish. Ends sourish hoppy.

Flavour is moderate to heavy sweet and bitter with a average to long duration, english licorice. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft.
on tap im devilcraft, Tokyo. part of their maui brewing event.
Lovely aroma to this, roast and chocolate i the nose.
Again bodywise, she is a tad thin. A maui brewpub trait?
Reasonable roast flavors mixing with a large amount of coca and chocolate. A bit strong on the cocoa, flavour wise for me. Slightly over carbed too.
Otherwise it’s a very drinkable albeit tin bodied beer. oh6gdx (26485) - Vasa, FINLAND - NOV 12, 2011
