COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
"As Big as it is Smooth." A black, robust, full-bodied stout with a creamy, bittersweet chocolate-like, roasted coffee palate. We pour our stout with a "nitro-tap" to accentuate the malt and create a thick long lasting head and creamy body. This stout was named in honor of the Wild Hog in all of us. 37 IBU.

On tap at the Maui Brewing Company Brew Pub. Poured a dark brown color with an averaged sized tan head. Aromas of roast and chocolate. Tastes of roast, chocolate, caramel, and had a light coffee finish.

Dark brown pour with tan head and lace. Toasted malt and coffee on the aroma. Large coffee, roasted malt, and a good malt bitter. Thin and watery with good carbonation. Nice beer.

Tap: Very dark with a frothy head. Texture was smooth; carbonation was mild. Rich and roasty right off the bat. Earthy, wholesome, oaty. Faint black licorice and vanilla. Pretty tasty, but a tad too sweet for me.

I had this on draft (nitro) at Maui brewing. Very smooth, aroma of coffee/chocolate, the flavor was mild, it was almost like a "session stout". At 6%, its very drinkable

Roasted malt aroma... Kind of your standard stout, nothing special... Rich in malts, but nothing significant, had better...

Dark with a creamy tan head. Easy roasted notes, some bitterness, chocolate malt. Smooth and creamy body. A good warm weather stout.

Nitro at the Brewpub. Nice dark pour with nice tight bubble head and lacing. Aromas were somewhat weak but the coffee/chocolate was all there. Flavors didnt really come through for me. A little muddled and not like the aromas. I was under impressed

Very sweet and overly dry with totally milk chocolate malt. Pours completely dark and opaque with a thin tan head. The first sip is too sweet and malty with milk chocolate, light cofffee ground and dry, robust malt. The finish is dry and mildly astringent.

Faint aroma; can hardly smell anything. Mostly opaque body; reddish black with a tan head. Some lace. Oatmeal stout through and through. They nailed the style. Some lactose. Bittersweet chocolate. Fibrant flavors for a nitro. Well done.
