[Cask at The Three Judges in Glasgow, Scotland]
Tasted this in the Last Post, Paisley in November 2002. Cask, handpump dispense. Clear pale mahogany in colour with a thin white head. Floral hop resins in the short aromatic aroma. Thin resiny mouthfeel and good lacing. Pale malts give a digestive biscuit base with a distinct fruity flavour of pears. Bitter smack of hop resins present in the earthy aftertaste. Finish is slightly edged towards the malt with oak cask dry notes present. An ok session bitter. yespr (47380) - Copenhagen O, DENMARK - NOV 19, 2010

Cask conditioned - handpump - Lincolnshire Poacher Nottingham. A dark brown coloured beer with a creamy white head. The aroma is malty and nutty with a dusting of chocolate. The taste is more of the same, with extra woodiness and raisins. A tasty Autumnal beer. DJMonarch (9179) - Northwich, Cheshire, ENGLAND - NOV 13, 2005

Pint pulled at Weatherspoons (Putney, London) as part of their Great Autumn Beer Festival. Ruby brown in colour with a thick creamy head. The aroma is strong with fruity hops with malty undertones. The flavour is quite floral with the strong presense of the Maris Otter malt. Beautifully smooth with the bitterness coming through. imdownthepub (15322) - Banbury, Oxfordshire, ENGLAND - NOV 4, 2003
Cask Conditioned at The Ribs of Beef, Norwich. A mid brown beer with thin head. This is a thinnish tasting beer with a cereal, flakey note. A little overlaid hops, refreshing bitterness.
