Handpulled cask at JDW Hatch End, Harrow. Amber with a white head. Good bodied best bitter with tangy dry hoppy finish. Alphadelic (2237) - Portland, Oregon, USA - JAN 28, 2009
Quite a pale yellow/amber number with a sustained and spitting white head. Hoppy aromas with hints of lemonade and light cereals. Very crisp with a lot in common with a quality lager. Heavy cereals with tiny hints of hops knocking around in the aftermath. It’s very airy and a little tingly. Pretty quaffable. Not amazing but dang drinkable. Perfect a little chilled for some hair of the dog with its cleansing fizziness and lipsmacking bite. cluny6 (115) - Cambridge, Cambridgeshire, ENGLAND - AUG 14, 2008
Dark amber ale with small head but good retention. The aroma is fruity with moderate hops noticeable. VEry fruity and some hops, a bit watery. Simple taste. Good for a pub but not to take home to savor. B-
