downender (8774) - Bristol, Gloucestershire, ENGLAND - APR 9, 2008
Cask-conditioned at The Castle, EC4 8/4/08. Amber coloured with a moderate white head. caramel and earthy malt aroma. Full mouth feel with plenty of sweet malt, marzipan and a decent bitter finish. Enjoyable.

Ethereal (2421) - Los Angeles, California, USA - DEC 26, 2007
Cask with Mes at the Market Porter, 2nd Sept 2007. Dark blonde colour with no head. Aroma of alcohol and pineapple. Sweet malt flavour at first and then the alcohol comes through, which makes it nicely warming. Rich, smooth finish. Very drinkable!

MesandSim (7117) - London, Greater London, ENGLAND - SEP 3, 2007
A Mes rate: Cask at the Market Porter. Nice dark gold colour but with no head. Sweet malty aroma with a pleasing hint of alcohol (strange for a 4.8% beer) but it works for me. Very slight pineapple too. Appley flavour but not in a bad way, nice light alcohol notes too. Mellow and drinkable.

harrisoni (19165) - Ashford, Kent, ENGLAND - MAY 19, 2007
UPDATED: JUN 22, 2007 500ml bottle from the brewery. Having had 4 bottles of this I have decided that I like it. Chilled and filtered before bottling. Amber, rocky white head. Little bit estery on aroma on this bottle which I didn’t pick up on the previous bottles. Good sharp English hop aroma too. Decent malts in mouth, little bit biscuity. Peachy hop finish is very good. Bitter. Tasty, but would like to try on cask. I had this on cask at the Gardener’s Arms in Lewes and didn’t like it as much as the bottle version, fuller, but sweeter and less hoppy.

hughie (3996) - Bedford, Bedfordshire, ENGLAND - MAR 11, 2007
UPDATED: SEP 16, 2009 Cask at Wellington Arms, Bedford. Copper colour. Pear aroma. Delightfully uncomplicated fruity taste with a crisp bitter finish. No frills at all, but a very decent ale. 16.8.09. same location. Faint sweet pear drop aroma. Sour fruity taste with an edge of sweetness and a mid bitter finish. The overall effect is very nice. gnoff (10793) - Göteborg, SWEDEN - OCT 16, 2006
(Real Ale/Cask Conditioned, Akkurat in Stockholm) A bit shady golden color, lasting cream colored head. Hoppy fruity and floral scent, also a bit dry. Fruity and bitter taste, a slight bitter aftertaste. Rather thin body.

Mungo (2470) - Southampton, Hampshire, ENGLAND - JUL 26, 2006
Cask conditinoed @ South Western Arms, Soton. Fruity malts and not entirely unpleasant flavours of peanut shells. Slightly earthy and musty with an underdeveloped hop finish.

Svesse (8731) - Hässelby, SWEDEN - JUL 4, 2006
(Cask at Oliver Twist, Stockholm) Colour is amber/tawny, with little head. Not perfectly clear. Nose is fruity and malty with hints of citrus (tangerine, grapefruit) and floral hops. Taste is fruity, a bit on the sweet side, with a nice bitter and citrussy (grapefruit) finish. Probably served slightly too warm. Nice, but I have a feeling it could be in better condition.

rickgordon (3878) - Göteborg, SWEDEN - JUN 16, 2006
[Cask at Akkurat, Stockholm] Amber colour. Aroma from grassy hops and a bit phenolic. Sweetish, soft mouthfeel, bit soapy flavour with notes of pomegranate. Pretty big body at this abv-level. Light-medium bitter.

3.7
ante (3373) - Stockholm, SWEDEN - JUN 7, 2006
Cask at Akkurat, Stockholm. Brownish amber. Strong earthy, grassy and almondy aroma with touches of wood and peat. Dry earthy flavour with notes of dark chocolate, toffee and red apples. Rather full and robust body. Long dry, bitter aftertaste of soil, nuts and salt. Very nice full-bodied and tasty bitter served in perfect condition.
