Bottle from Jungle Jim's pour hazy light gold with rapidly dissipating white head. Nose light tart, citrus, orange peel, hint of pretty spice. Taste bubble gum, sweet flavors, lots of esters. Mild orange late. Dal9000 (674) - Ohio, USA - AUG 27, 2017
Sampled at 2017 Dayton Alefest- a classic wit beer at the first taste. Light wheat but finishes with a hint of orange.

Pours a cloudy golden yellow with a white foam head. Aroma is spicy, peppery wit yeast with hints of orange. Flavor is sweet orange and yeast in the background. Lightly carbonated and smooth. Solid. superspak (6228) - Waterford, Michigan, USA - MAY 22, 2017
12 ounce bottle into tulip glass; no bottle dating, but is a recent seasonal release. Pours hazy pale golden yellow color with a 1-2 finger fairly dense and fluffy white head with good retention, that reduces to a nice cap that lingers. Nice spotty soapy lacing clings around the glass. Aromas of big lightly tart blood orange, lemon, orange peel, pear, apple, coriander, pepper, clove, light banana/bubblegum, wheat, cracker, biscuit, herbal, grass, and yeast earthiness. Damn nice aromas with good balance and complexity of fruity/earthy yeast, spices, blood orange, and bready malt notes; with great strength. Taste of big lightly tart blood orange, lemon, orange peel, pear, apple, coriander, pepper, clove, light banana/bubblegum, wheat, cracker, biscuit, herbal, grass, and yeast earthiness. Light-moderate herbal/grassy bitterness, yeast spiciness, and slight fruit tartness on the finish. Lingering notes of blood orange, lemon, orange peel, pear, apple, coriander, pepper, clove, light banana/bubblegum, wheat, cracker, biscuit, herbal, grass, and yeast earthiness on the finish for a while. Great complexity, robustness, and balance of fruity/earthy yeast, spices, blood orange, and bready malt flavors; with an awesome malt/bitter/spiciness balance, and zero cloying flavors after the finish. Light dryness from bitter/spiciness, lightly increasing through the glass. Medium carbonation and medium-plus body; with a very smooth, moderately creamy/bready/grainy, and lightly sticky balanced mouthfeel that is great. Zero warming alcohol for 8.1%. Overall this is an awesome imperial fruited witbier style. All around great complexity, robustness, and balance of fruity/earthy yeast, spices, blood orange, and bready malt flavors; very smooth, and pretty crisp/refreshing to drink for the ABV. Spot on witbier style flavors; nice blood orange fruit presence that does not overwhelm the base beer. A really enjoyable offering.

Pours a cloudy amber color with a white head. Aroma is of wheat, lemon, and a hint of orange. Flavor is stronger of the wheat than anything else. Finishes with the blood orange. Crisp on the finish as well. ganache (6089) - New Jersey, USA - AUG 21, 2016
Bottle. Nose reminds lightly of wheaty pretzel and more strongly of coriander soup, even a bare hint of smoke (which makes me crazy, I know). Pour a clear, rich golden with a short and sudsy, dull off-white head. Taste is medium-tart with light sweetness that sticks, much more citrus in-mouth, actual blood orange juice and peel that are most prominent starting with the back palate; wheat without the slime, more orange esters, integrated and relatively smooth alcohol, oily medium body with saison touches here and there (including slightly syrupy clove and faint pepper). Some will find it much better than the score I’m giving, no doubt, but I can’t see myself reaching for a second -- the fruit-tart combination incites a bit of quease in my otherwise cast iron stomach. Draft sample. The beer is a hazy yellow with a white head of foam. The aroma has some citrus tangy notes and a mellow wheat nuance. Sweet and doughy taste. Moderately fruity. Medium body and moderate carbonation. zoucrew102 (2249) - - AUG 7, 2016
Bottle, thanks Christina! Wheat malt aroma with Belgian yeast, orange, coriander and pepper notes. Pours cloudy golden colored with a thin white head that has no retention or lacing. Starts with wheat malt flavor with a bit of spicy Belgian yeast and coriander flavor. Finishes smooth with notes of banana, clove, orange and a little bit of peppery spice at the end. Nice beer, but there wasn’t as much orange flavor as I expected. outlawskies (564) - Ohio, USA - JUN 6, 2015
