Rated on 6-10-2017 at Maumee Bay B.C. This draft beer’s appearance is a small white head that is mostly lasting, hazy pale yellow body, lively, fast rising carbonation, and a fair amount of lacing. The aroma is grainy, hops, bready, and malt. The flavor mimics the aroma. The mouthfeel of this beer is smooth and this beer is light bodied. This beer is easy to drink but it lacks a decent taste. It is not a beer I would order again. Luvystypotables (1967) - Virginia Beach, Virginia, USA - SEP 9, 2014
Aroma of malt, pours a golden color with a lasting white head. A nutty malt flavor and a creamy feel with and a short lasting nutty malt finish.

Sample at the GCBA Summer Session on 08/23/2014: Clear gold color with a medium foamy white head that recedes steadily to an outer ring. Aroma of grassy hops, fruit and sweet malt. Light body with flavors of bready malt, herbal hops and fruit. The finish is mildly bitter with a short grassy hop aftertaste. Decent overall. Tap at the pub. Pours an almost clear gold with a small bubbly head that fades to a thin ring. Aroma is faint. Some malty sweetness and grain. Taste is surprisingly good though. A really nice, sweet, crisp bread and grain taste with a hint of fruitiness. Slightly dry in the finish with some nice bitterness. Definitely one of the better Kolsch’s I’ve had.

On tap during Ohio Brew Week 2013, taster from Oak Room. Clear golden color. Good thin white head. Leaves plenty lace. Bready nose. Lightly toasty. Good german hops. Hay, hint of citrus, lightly creamy. Great flavor, perfect for a kolsch. Bready flavor. Lighter body. Good, smooth lighter carbonation. Lightly dry in the finish. Good light bitter taste, minimal sweet. Can’t complain about this at all. On-style, can’t really think of how it could be improved. Excellent kolsch Tmoney99 (14492) - Cincinnati, Ohio, USA - JUL 9, 2012

On tap at Toledo mud hens game. Yellow-gold pour with big white head. Aroma is muted grainy. Tastes are light lemon, grain, bread. Crisp and refreshing. JStax (6505) - Devola/Marietta, Ohio, USA - JUN 25, 2012
Poured on draft. Appearance is a hazy yellow with a nice white head of foam. Crisp even. Aroma is mildly grainy and a little resinous bitterness. Wasn’t expecting that. Bready taste that moves on to a nicely bitter finish. Well made kolsch.
