Pours a hazy golden copper with a white foam head. Aroma has an odd sourish note with wheat and honey. Flavor is lemon and sweet honey and some honey. Body is soft and smooth. This is okay. hotstuff (5173) - Fort Wayne, Indiana, USA - JUN 13, 2017
Rated on 6-10-2017 at Maumee Bay B.C. This draft beer’s appearance is a very small off-white head that is fully lasting, transparent pale yellow body, very little carbonation observed, and spotty lacing. The aroma consists of spice, lemon, light citrus, and honey. The flavor mimics the aroma. The mouthfeel is smooth and this beer is light bodied. Overall, this beer is nothing very special to drink and it left me not ordering it again. ganache (5955) - New Jersey, USA - AUG 2, 2016
Bottle. Strange marmalade nose, a lot of orange juice and lemon here, pour clear, deep orange with a short-lived soapy off-white head. Full body crisp and mildly refreshing, a little heavy, light spice and honey, floral, picking up much more pleasant bread/yeast toward the end. Malt bland but there’s a nice little herbal hoppy note in the corner to pick it up. Dries somewhat. Geberlaune. [2016.08.02: 2.7] Dogbrick (13144) - Columbus, Ohio, USA - SEP 14, 2015
Sample at the Grandview Summer Session on 08/22/2015. The beer is a clear golden color with a medium white head that evaporates steadily to a film. Short strings of lace. Aroma of fruit, wheat and spices. Light-bodied with flavors of herbal wheat, citrus and spice. The finish is wheaty with a mild fruity aftertaste. Decent overall. Bottle. Pours hazy gold with clumps of yeast floating in it. Thin white head. Aromas of floral hops and citrus. Flavors of citrus, cut grass, and biscuit. Citrusy, hoppy finish. Peppery, clean mouthfeel. Not bad.

12 oz. bottle from Root Cellar. Pours a clear gold initially but I poured the whole thing in and loaded the glass with yeast floaters. Small off-white head with a ring and spotty film along with a few ropes of lace. Notes of wheat, minerals, husky grains, grass, some fruity esters, honey, and very, very light spice. Light-bodied, with moderate carbonation and a dry mouthfeel. Not spicy enough to merit the S/H/V style designation. Just a straightforward wheat ale with a more interesting description than it warrants. mambossa (337) - Cleveland, Ohio, USA - AUG 31, 2015
Pour from bottle. Gold pour, modest head, sediment. Prickly juice nose, biscuity and a bit musty, rindy. Flavor is unique, coriander, lemon and orange peel, lightly hopped, less bready than traditional wheats. Not what I expected in a mildly pleasant way. cheap (5910) - Beaver Valley, Beaver County, Pennsylvania, USA - JUL 30, 2015
$2 vintage. From a bottle this stuff looks almost alive in the glass, things going up, things falling down; lots of precipitant. Ever so slight ipa aroma. First taste is grapefruit mild bitter rinds pleasant. Yes, some astringent hop bitterness in there but its almost like ipa acceptable. Certainly is refreshing. Better than expected considering its full of spice. Yes, more like a hopped up unsweetened fresh squeezed grapefruit brew, but not quite as green nor oily. So, on the big swig its quite refreshing then as it finishes, that medium mild hop thang kicks in. Yes, better than expected. JaBier (8027) - Capital City, Ohio, USA - SEP 11, 2013
Pint at Maumee Bay on 9/7/13. Clear gold to orange appearance with a medium white head. Malty nose with notes of honey, lemon and subtle grassy hops. Malty flavor with honey sweetness and light citrus before a sweet finish. umich03jm (3513) - Flat Rock, Michigan, USA - JUN 14, 2013
Draft at the pub. Pours a cloudy orange color with very little head. Pleasant aroma of wheat, lemons, and some spice. Big lemon taste with minor wheat notes. Spicy dry finish. Not a bad summer beer.
