This devilishly good Belgian Golden Strong Ale has a spicy fruitiness and a soft malt sweetness. Additions of wildflower honey and Belgian candi sugar add to the complex layers of flavors. Don’t let the medium-light body of this Abbey-style beer deceive you- at 8.5% abv this demon packs a punch!

Clear gold, tallish white head. Yeasty, slightly candied Belgian aroma with some husky, mossy hops. Some banana popsicle notes. Pretty nice balance, except for a little boozy edge. Very lightly sweet, bitterness is a combination of hops and alcohol. Warming. Body leans a little bit to the heavy side. Finishes out a bit whiskeyish. On tap, at the brewery.
