On tap at GABF. Pours a mostly clear golden color with a medium white head. The aroma is lemons, some grains, a bit of crystal I guess. The flavor is toasted malts, lemon and oranges, light bitterness. Decent.

ChainGangGuy (4894) - Woodstock, Georgia, USA - AUG 18, 2011
Appearance: Hazy, light copper-hued body with a whitish head. Smell: Smells of pale malts, faint sweet-scented caramel, as well as floral and pith notes, though not particularly robust or aromatic. Taste: Pale malts, a bit of modestly sweet caramel with a hint of toasted French bread. White grapefruit, lemon, and some slight florals, though, as with the aroma, it’s not quite bold, more ho-hum, really. Medium-plus bitterness. Very faintly resinous on the back end closing out with a flat, bitterish, lightly pithy finish. Mouthfeel: Medium-light body. Medium-low carbonation. Overall: An acceptable albeit very average IPA. Again with the low carbonation here.

3.3
