Pour was brighty amber with nice floral nose. This thing must’ve had some Centennial hops in it, my favoritest hop. Floral bouquet over caramel malty background. Smooth mouthfeel, rich flavor and moderate bitterness. By far the best Max beer I’ve had yet. daknole (11049) - Scottsdale, Arizona, USA - JUL 16, 2014
Bright gold/copper pour. Bright white head. A nice explosion of citrusy and tropical fruit, balanced bitterness and light sweetness from the malt. Good beer. decaturstevo (6257) - decatur, Tennessee, USA - MAR 9, 2010

Part of a sampler at Max Lagers in Atlanta. Must note that it was listed as a 9% Imperial IPA when I had it. Clear golden pour. Really nice pine and grass aroma. Flavor follows with light bitter, some lightly sweet malt, beautiful grassy floral hops to balance the malts here. Super drinkable, medium plus carbonation. Actually a really nice brew. jcwattsrugger (12471) - Florida and, New Jersey, USA - MAR 3, 2010

On tap at the brewpub. Pours a lightly hazed, deeper orange-golden colored body with an inch thick, dense, frothy, off-white head that dissipates slowly and leaves a moderate lacing. Aroma is resiny grapefruits and tangerines with some other citruses and a lightly sweetened caramel. A good amount of pine and a hint of herbal spicing. Flavor is similar. Lots of piney grapefruits and tangerines with a light hop spice. A thinner, but not watery caramel that balances just enough to allow the hops to shine. Finishes dry with a moderate bitterness and a lengthy aftertaste. Lighter body with a light to moderate carbonation. Overall, a solid brewpub IPA. Well hopped with a pleasant bitterness. Good one. chrisv10 (17795) - DENMARK - JUN 1, 2010
