nearbeer (5369) - Knoxville, Tennessee, USA - JUN 28, 2016
12 oz. on tap at the brewpub. Opaque ebony with a film of cream on top. Aroma of semi-sweet chocolate, caramel and espresso with cream. Flavors of chocolate, coffee, a hint of blackberry and toffee. Medium plus body is smooth with near-medium carbonation and a dessert beer slant, but never gets sticky.

drfabulous (7813) - Lexington, Kentucky, USA - MAY 25, 2016
Draught at brewpub. Slightly thin body, but nice notes of cocoa and chocolate. Just want more body on this one.

Blairgus (4535) - California, USA - NOV 20, 2015
20 nob 2015, tap at Max Lagers. Black. Nose is nice roasted, slightly sweet. Med body and mildly fizzy. Burnt malt, slight acidic bite. Very nice.

Imaena (2315) - Maputo, MOZAMBIQUE - FEB 15, 2015
Draught. This is a thick and roasty stout without a whole lot of flavor dynamic. But good enough all the same.

4.7
Cybercat (5741) - Georgia, USA - FEB 21, 2014
Comes out of the tap a rich coffee brown with a decent buttery-tan head. Scrumptious aroma has vanilla, roast malt, coffee, semi-sweet chocolate and toffee notes. Gets me salivating like one of Pavlovís dogs! Flavor delights with coffee, vanilla, roast malt, toffee and subtle molasses notes. Texture is fairly firm and quite fizzy. Delicious almost to the max!

burg326 (5479) - Florida, USA - OCT 19, 2012
On draft at the brewpub, pours dark black color, aromas of chocolate, oats, light sweetness, and some vanilla. Flavors are the same light sweet aftertaste, best beer they had on tap that day.

What can you say about this award winning beer. Chocolate, coffee...pours thick and dark like espresso. One of my favorite beers. If you like Averyís Yeti or Lagunitas Espresso Stout this one is for you. I wish I could buy this in cans or bottles!

3.3
beernovice39 (3270) - Idaho, USA - APR 20, 2012
Draft. Black pour with a tan top. Scent is roasty and chocolate. Taste is roasy, chocolate and coffee.
