Reddish pour, creamy head. Malty caramel up front finished by some cereal grains and light citrusy hops. beeryum (652) - Norcross, Georgia, USA - SEP 18, 2005
Draft, Ambery coppery clear pour. Malty bready aroma, and I got a lot of ’tea’ smells. Caramel malt flavors with a touch of acidity and a light bready and medium bitter finish. Aurelius (5335) - Tallahassee, Florida, USA - JUN 28, 2002
A fruit-juicy, sweet aroma. Sweet, tart and clean without a whole lot of hopping. Reminded me of sloe plums that I used to eat as a kid. A bright orange-red. decaturstevo (6244) - decatur, Tennessee, USA - MAR 9, 2010

Part of a flight at Max Lagers in downtown Atlanta. Pours red with a small off white head. Aroma of sweet malts, lager yeast, some sweet fruits. Flavor follows the aroma with a smooth mouthfeel, smooth finish, and medium carbonation. Perfectly fine for the style, but nothing to call home about. On tap at the brewpub. This was well loved by the only Englishman among us, for what it’s worth. Crystal amber pour, with decent carbonation but quite settled and sedentary looking. Decently aromatic malts with just a touch of spice to the nose. Body was medium, thinned out fairly quickly. Just flavorful enough to be inoffensive. Not flavorful enough to remember. Lighter brown coloured beer with some little carbonation and a short white head. Light malty hinted aroma; Very smouth medium palate. Finish is light bitter malty with some short spicy hints. Not bad. Westmeister (2129) - Atlanta, Georgia, USA - JAN 31, 2012
Draft. Pours amber and clear. Malty, bready aroma. Taste is caramel malt with some bitterness and breadiness. Ok. b3shine (8870) - Indiana, USA - NOV 21, 2013
Draft to taster at the downtown brewpub. Looks decent; a transparent light copperish orange with off-white lacing. Smells of caramel and lager yeast with a bit of toastiness. Tastes like it smells with an average mouthfeel. Alright.
