Cask @ Bank, Manchester. Nicholsonís Beer Festival. Very dark but not quite black, with a small creamy off-white head. Has a fairly sweet aroma, much like a porter, although its body and taste, despite being fairly weak are obviously stout in design.
Half pint, hand-pulled cask ale at Magnet. Fawn-colored head leaving dotted spots behind. Coal black body. Roasted malty aromas. Liquorice, coffee, and oatmeal flavours. Fine bodied considering the low abv. Pretty nice stout (Stockport 03.02.2015). maeib (8749) - Wootton, Northampton, Northamptonshire, ENGLAND - APR 27, 2014
