1.9 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 7/20
Cask conditioned, The Wouldhave, South Shields. Hazy gold in colour with a very subtle hoppy aroma. Extremely earthy on the palate, almost soil-like. A liitle bitterness in the aftertaste but this is overshadowed by the initial earthy notes. Not very pleasant.
Depending on the light, this a a cloudy pale yellow ale or one that resembles a cloudy apple appearance. It has a very small head and a full malty hoppy aroma that is a touch skunky. It’s taste is similar but less stated. ralphdot (1100) - Billingham, Durham, ENGLAND - JAN 7, 2013

Pint at Spoons Gateshead. Hazy Gold, thin but solid off-white head. Farmyard and Wine in the aroma, and the flavour. Wine so prominent, I wondered if it had been added after brewing! Wine, bubble gum and cereal flavours, bitter finish. Nice beer. zacgillbanks (5435) - Tyne & Wear, ENGLAND - JUL 28, 2012
Bottle from Asda, Lemington. Golden coloured with sweet toffee and slight fruity flavours and more sweetness on the finish.
