COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Amber/Red Sour Ale with this collaboration with Maximus we decided on doing a amber, reddish colored kettle soured beer. After the clean fermentation we added cherry-wood chips in the lager tank, this adds some woody flavour and tannins to the beer.

Spritziger, säuerlich kirschiger Start. Süffig, dann trocken holzig, geringe Herbe. Die starke Trockenheit dominiert den Nachgeschmack. 8/8/8/7//7

Tap @ Arendsnest, Amsterdam. Pours a reddish brown with a good, off-white head. Aroma is red fruits, slight sourness. Taste is red fruits, strong ammonium chloride candy powder. Slight sour. As the drink goes on, the ammonium chloride moves into the background while the sour becomes slightly stronger.

On tap at the Oedipus Brewery on 26-June-2016 - described as a Flemish Red aged with cherry wood chips. Reddish orange in colour with an off-white head. Aroma of summer fruit and alcohol. Medium body and lively carbonation. Lovely tart fruity flavour. Slightly sour - can really taste the cherry.

ALIBALI (2313) - Kiel, GERMANY - APR 8, 2016
From tap at the Arendsnest Amsterdam. Nett.

(Maximus / Oedipus Chateau de Liaison) Tap at Stoom, Nijmegen. It only took me 10 minutes to find it thanks to ratebeer’s search function. Deep amber colour on the body, clear, with a small off-white head on top, with aveerage retention. Weird aroma, some caramel, vinegar at the same time, something I can’t put py finger on. Taste of caramel, sugars, red fruits and kind of a salty finish. Medium thin body with low carbonation. Decent.
