Aus der Flasche getrunken (Direktlieferung aus NL). Trübes Dunkelamber mit schönem weißem Schaum. Schön entwickeltes Bockbier.

mutz (1043) - NETHERLANDS - NOV 15, 2016
Midbruine kleur, flinke kraag . Ruikt niet erg sterk, vaag caramel. Smaak is ook vlak en weinig uitgesproken. Vrij zoet, niet echt een bock.

GSAP (742) - NETHERLANDS - OCT 28, 2016
Beetje hoekig en uit balans, met karamel, wat choco en licht bitter kruid. Aroma is met flauw met sporen van zoete specerijen. Licht bruin met weinig kraag.

Countbeer (6592) - Best of E-Town mit 2 Brauhausen, NETHERLANDS - OCT 16, 2016
33 bottle: Served in a Chouffe glass: Vanilla ish airy head. Cloudy ruby body. Nose of malts, toast, bread, caramel, light nutty... Flavour is caramel, bitters, dried herbs/leaves, toast, bread, light nutty and some hay... Aftertaste is bitter, caramel, malty and some dryness with a spice (white pepper like) sprinkle... Low carbo, creamy mouthfeel, medium bodied.

bonkiedeaap (750) - Leerdam, NETHERLANDS - OCT 15, 2016
Bottle from a supermarket in Leerdam, Netherlands. The beer is dark amber colored and has a large broken white head, with nice carbonation. The aroma is malty and has notes of fresh hops, caramel, roasted malts and bread. The taste is light sweet and slightly dry with notes of roasted malts, caramel, fresh hops and fruits and gives a spicy bitterness in the end. The finish is light dry and light bitter. I don’t know if you have to call this a bock. It’s an oke beer, but it has nothing to do with a bock beer.

On tap. Leicht trübes orange braunes Bier mit mittelgroßen beigen Schaumkrone. Geruch röstmalzig, süß, karamellig. Geschmack süß malzig, schokoladig, Karamell, Vanille, gut!

MelvinKalksma (1516) - NETHERLANDS - AUG 10, 2016

Aroma:
Slight/medium aroma of malts, caramel, bread and fruit.

Appearance:
Turbid/opaque golden/amber beer with a slight/medium off-white/beige head.

Taste/Palate:
Medium sweet and slightly dry with malts, caramel, bread and fruit.

Overall:
This beer is rather intense and balanced, but lacks complexity. Shamefully both the aroma and flavour are nothing much.

Svesse (8579) - Hässelby, SWEDEN - FEB 28, 2016
(Draught at Kafé België, Utrecht, 18 Feb 2018) Dark brown colour, almost black, with frothy beige head. Malty, roasted nose with chocolate, caramel, liquorice and black rye bread. Malty, roasted taste with notes of chocolate, caramel, hints of liquorice and a gentle spicy bitterness. Medium body, with a touch of sweetness. Tasty and well balanced. Quite nice.

adamnowek (2644) - Brussels, BELGIUM - DEC 12, 2015
Nice hazy orange-tinged brew with a good creamy head. Doesn’t really have much of an aroma. Or a taste. What was the point of this?

2.7
sjogro (3956) - The Hague, NETHERLANDS - DEC 3, 2015
Starts with nice hoppiness but disappears. Peppery sharp carbo and sweet bock backbone. Alright but with little conviction. Backlog from 2014/10/07.
