Aroma has apricot and some toffee typical to Belgian ales. Flavour has apricot, some citrus tones and grassy hops. Finishes dry with hints of minerals. Quite typical Belgian ale, except for the fruity American hops. Refreshing.

Taste is bitter, rather straight . Fresh and natural hops, small aromatic character , but moslty crisp bitterness .

330ml bottle. Neglecting some floating chunks - clear amber colour with average, frothy, half-way lasting, minimally lacing, white head. Piney, hoppy aroma, caramel malty background. Taste is dry, hoppy, piney, slightly caramel malty. mjs (7357) - Helsinki, FINLAND - SEP 6, 2014
(Bottle, 0.33 l - BB 23/06/16, at Black Door, 20140906) The beer poured golden and rather clear. Its head was quite large, white and it lasted long. Aroma had fruitiness, tangerine, herbalness, pine and malts. Palate was medium bodied with medium carbonation. Flavours were fruitiness, herbalness, sweetness, grass, malts and bitterness. Aftertaste was hoppy and bitter. Because of the herbalness the overall feeling was somewhat medicine like and that was not pleasant. caesar (7153) - Bunnik/Utrecht, NETHERLANDS - JUN 2, 2013
UPDATED: MAR 29, 2014 Tap @ Maximus. Clear golden color, short head. Aroma of piney hops, grapefruit, bit floral, soft malt. Quite bitter in taste, bit dry. It has some spicy yeast notes. Crisp. Nicely balanced.
