Stout bieren zijn bijzonder populair tegenwoordig. Sterke smaak, maar verder weinig subtiel of karaktervol.

Partage avec mon cher Appiantiqua dans nos petits verres Duvel 18cl,Belle robe de couleur bne surmonte dune bonne mousse ivoire assez persistante avec une carbonatation moyenne.Le nez nous offre des armes houblonns avec par la suite des notes de caf grill.La bouche nous amne sur des saveurs limage du nez avec le chocolat qui se mle au caf.La finale est trs plaisante nous laissant sur une fine amertume.Un stout bien quilibr!17,5/20

Partage avec mon petit Kittenbieer dans un verre Duvel 18 cl. Temprature de dbut 8 9. Trs belle robe bne surmonte dune mousse ivoire gnreuse et persistante; bonne carbonatation. Nez plaisant sur les houblons avec des armes grills. Le got est trs agrable et apporte des saveurs de caf et de chocolat avec des notes de torrfaction le tout dans un bon quilibre. La finale de bonne longueur combine lamertume des houblons avec la touche caractristique des bons stouts. Une belle russite! 17,5/20

Black body, small light brown head. Very nice roasted malty aroma with coffee, some ash, toast. Light to medium body. Dry, roasted malty flavour with some coffee.

Bottle at Puu in Tallinn. BB 02.03.2017. Seems black in the dimly lit bar. Creamy beige head. Nose is really roasty with herbal hints. Tastes roasty, black bread and red berry sourish. That gets slightly distracting in the end but doesnt ruin the overall impression. Soft carbonation, full body and mouthfeel. Tingling bitter finish. Good stuff!

Bottle thanks to Nihtila. Appearance - opaque black with a lovely fawn head. Nose - caramel and chocolate. Light biscuit. Honeycomb. Taste - more elements of Crunchie Bar. Burnt toffee and molasses. Palate - close to full bodied. Crunchy texture. Dry roast finish. Overall - a solid stout.
