UPDATED: FEB 1, 2017 Couleur dorée, légère mousse. Nez malté, doux et legumes. Gout malté céréales assez rapide avec forte astringence, vieille pommes, bière 1er prix. Vraiment pas géniale toom oberkirch

bierkoning (13689) - La Tropica/Doarp, NETHERLANDS - JAN 29, 2017
Bottle. Blonde. Floral, soft soapy aroma and flavor. Soft malts, but fairly dry. Bready. Unexciting.

21-01-17 // 500ml bottle at home. Pours a deep golden, clear beer with a solid white head. Taste is sweet malty, some grains, bread, sweet caramel touches. Nothing special but ok.

nephirem (622) - CROATIA - FEB 5, 2016
Pours an clear orange color with small white head. Smell is sweet - but very, very weak - almost non-existent. Again, this was enough to set off my alarms. Unfortunately, it wasn’t a false alarm. This is pretty disappointing for a Christmas special. A watery lager - nothing more, nothing less. Not even the ABV is up to task. 5.5% is pretty weak for something that’s supposed to be a winter special - usually, winter specials are a bit higher on alcohol in order to keep us warm. No such luck here. Very weak undefined aroma. Thin body with medium carbonation. Empty and bland. Finish is slightly bitter. Overall - pretty much your everyday lager. Avoid.

Pours deep golden with a smallish head. Sweetish aroma with malts and some fruitiness. A hint of metallic notes too. Taste is mostly malty and grainy but finishes with moderately bitter notes of grass. Average co2. A decent Festbier. (0,5l bottle, bb10.07.2016)

Bottled 500ml. -at Pivoteka Zagreb. Courtesy of and shared with Marko, thanks1 Darker golden coloured, medium sized white head, malty nose. Sweet malty, bready, touch of fruits and caramel with mild hoppy finish. Not bad at all.

Marko (6106) - Split / Zagreb, CROATIA - DEC 2, 2015
Bottle at Pivoteka. Clear old gold body, lovely with a medium sized lasting white head. Malty, sweet aroma, very light banana. Sweetish body too, vary light banana again, graininess, strange carbonation in a way, slightly heavy. No hops really. Peculiar body in general but a well executed beer.

Bottle. Golden, small to average and mostly diminishing head. Light to moderate, malty - lightly grainy and lightly sweetish aroma, light caramel and faint bread with light hoppynes. Body is medium, malty and lightly sweetish flavor, light caramel and hoppyness. Finish is average, malty - lightly grainy and lightly sweetish, faint caramel and light grassy hoppyness, light metal and faint alcohol. Your typical märzen with sharp metal in the finish.I do not get any "fest" here.

kappldav123 (6133) - GERMANY - JAN 9, 2015
Bottle looks really good. Beer in the glass zippy, nice head. Starts fine malty, spicy, dry background. Also some wheaty notes. Finish a bit metallically. All in all an average festbier. Okay.

lusikka (7833) - Tampere, FINLAND - DEC 30, 2014
500 ml bottle. Enjoyed at Munich, Germany. Pours a golden colour with a small head. Aroma of grains, some very disturbing soapy notes and plastic. Flavour of grains, sugary sweetness, unclean yeastiness and grass. Light bodied and harsh carbonation. Not good.
