Njemački doppelbock sa 7.5% alk. Obožavam ove doppelbockove. Velika količina alkohola se toliko i ne osjeti. Izvrsno je izbalansirana piva punog okusa i lijepog mirisa.

Pivoteka. Clear dark brown/bronze. Lasting off white head. Chocolate, grainy, full light maltiness. Cocoa pops. Malty, cocoa lighr alcohol, caramel, dry grain. Lean, smooth, not too full. Ok, clean. Sweetish. Not bad. Ends dry. Not bad. Don’t like the finish, otherwise quite nice. nephirem (598) - CROATIA - FEB 3, 2017
Bottle, 0.5l. Clear deep ruby pour with two finger creamy beige head. Average head retention. Poor lacing. Nose is malty and grainy with hints of citrus, hops and caramel.
Medium body with average carbonation. Slick and oily palate, somewhat dry mouthfeel, a bit peppery on the tongue. Malty sweet taste with a touch of alcohol burn. Aroma of caramel malts, liquor, toffee. Herbal and peppery. Slight cardboard. Licorice. Pretty strong alcohol presence despite the not so high ABV. Long finish, dry with lasting alcohol burn and slight metallic acidity.
Overall, quite decent. eastroad (6) - FRANCE - JUL 31, 2016 does not count
As usual with Maxlrainer Brauerei; the tap version of this beer is much better than the bottled version... Malty, caramel and chestnut notes; a full bodied and powerful beer. Christos (5882) - Arnhem, NETHERLANDS - APR 22, 2016
