Oct ’14. A 0.5 l fliptop bottle at Beertija, Zagreb. It poured very lightly hazy and surprisingly red-amber body with quite a small head for the style. (Only now I see it’s listed as a dark wheat). Aroma of caramel, some biscuit and a bit of lemony hops. As I thought it was a regular Hefeweizen I was surprised by the caramel, which dominated its sweetish flavor. There was also banana, peach lemon and only a touch of chalk. Kinda empty bodied, without too much yeasty chalk notes all through it. A bit sour in the finish besides caramel. Ending a bit disappointing. Like some kind of a Kristalldunkelweizen, interesting, not bad, but I expected more. s_hartshorne (2814) - wakefield, West Yorkshire, ENGLAND - APR 11, 2015

Flowery aroma and taste. The wheat aroma and taste can be felt. Very light in bitterness. Rather dry, and strangly I find it rather bubbly on the tongue for a weisse, almost if it was over carbonated. Zodiac (64) - - SEP 9, 2014
Nice appearance, brownish, nice head, ok aroma. A pleasant beer to drink however a bit to sweet. Maybe not the best example of dunkel weissen. Theydon_Bois (20641) - Hazlemere, the lower Xhitlerns, Buckinghamshire, ENGLAND - SEP 4, 2014
