I must first say that if you go to Maxwell's try their home brewed Ginger Blackberry ale (non-alcoholic)--not only is it incredibly tasty, but it was the best of the selections I sampled. In any cae, the dunkelweizen is of a lovely, hazy orange color topped with a dollop of cream. The aroma is of a heavy musk aroma from which banana can eventually be identified. Well balanced with some banana flavor as well. Despite the name, this seems no more than a typical german wheat to me.
