Bottle from beer52. Murky reddish brown with a small tan head. Very malty with bread and earth, a bit rubbery. Taste is mostly bitter but with some sour/sweet notes. Slightly prickly, medium body. Average. hohops (983) - Kent, ENGLAND - APR 4, 2014
Pours murky brown, a bit of a ruby tinge, beige bubbles, a slop of sediment comes out despite a careful pour. Aroma- lots of dark malts, bready, yeasty, chocolate and cocoa notes. Taste- chocolatey hints, malt, slight vinous undertones, bitter coffee hints in the aftertaste. Easy drinking, pretty good. pricey290483 (796) - London, Greater London, ENGLAND - MAR 26, 2014

Perfect allrounder - Bright amber with a sweet aroma. The bitter taste comes as a surprise and hits the spot. Crazyforcraft (18) - Staplow, Bedfordshire, ENGLAND - JAN 27, 2014
Top ruby ale, great colour with a nice head. Packed full of malty flavour with a smooth aftertaste. Could drink a lot of this!

On gravity at Gloucester beer festival, 23/3/2013. Copper coloured with a slight, off-white head. A fruity bitter with some caramel, a touch of hedgerow hop and gently bitter finish. Ok. Beth101 (531) - West Yorkshire, ENGLAND - AUG 4, 2012
smells of vinegar and slightly oaked? Can taste a bit of malt but has an overriding tastes of vinegar. Dark brown head and looks flat. I would say this beer is off but I feel it could be nice. Gethinbeer (2452) - Nova Scotia, CANADA - AUG 4, 2012
