oobawa (1734) - Tennessee, USA - OCT 19, 2017
Off-balance IBA, grainy as hell but with a way outsized hop bitterness that comes across more medicinal than enjoyable. Hefty dose of chocolate, caramel and toast in the front with hints of orange, but the pine-resin finish grows almost acrid in its intensity. Metallic undercurrents don’t help. Skip it.

solidfunk (9407) - Washington D.C., Washington DC, USA - FEB 22, 2017
Bitter roast and a little caramel. Some light sour malt like it was left out in the sun too long. Black pour with good head and lacing. Bittersweet finish. Tap at Flying Saucer in Nashville.

kerenmk (5168) - Tel Aviv, ISRAEL - SEP 3, 2016
On tap at Flying Saucer, Nashville, TN, 4.5.16. Black. Roasty aroma with lots of chocolate milk and cocoa nibs. Bitter, roasty and chocolatey taste. Medium-to-full body, roasty, and bitter but only slightly hoppy finish. Nice but more stout than an IBA.

3.3
CraftBeerNick (2808) - London Town, Greater London, ENGLAND - JUL 17, 2016
Tap at Flying Saucer, 14th July 16. Pours almost black, aroma is sweet, malts, caramel. Taste is malty, roasty, not enough hops and the palate lacking. OK

jandd1983 (4599) - Wentzville, Missouri, USA - JUN 12, 2016
On tap at Ted’s Montana in Nashville. It poured a dark color with a white head. The aroma was of citrus, pine and malts. The taste was similar to the aroma with more citrus, pine, malts, florals and some grapefruit. Tasty.

Headbanger (4021) - Aurora, Illinois, USA - JAN 22, 2016
Draft 7/22/15 (Broadway Brewhouse-Franklin)-Pours black with a small head. Aroma of hops, malt, and slight chocolate. Taste of the same with a bit of coffee as well. This medium bodied brew was not bad.

gerbewa (253) - - DEC 24, 2015
Growler from sieglers. Supposed to be a black ipa but tasted more like an average stout.

weitz15 (595) - Nashville, Tennessee, USA - DEC 20, 2015
Dark brown pour. Heavy carbonation and medium hops, with very little character on the finish.

3.5
mzaar (3643) - Varberg, SWEDEN - OCT 24, 2015
Fat @ Flying Saucer, Nashville. Mörkt brun med ett stort smutsvitt skum. Dofter av choklad, melass, citrus och rostad malt. Smakinslag av choklad, rostad malt och kåda. Torr munkänsla, medelbeska.
