4.3 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 18/20
Medium dark coffee brown that has the perfect balance of malt and hops. There is a smooth coffee/toffee taste with a wonderful citrus grapefruit flavor that works amazingly well. One of the best Black IPA’s I have had and possibly the best beer brewed in Middle Tennessee! Try this.
Bitter roast and a little caramel. Some light sour malt like it was left out in the sun too long. Black pour with good head and lacing. Bittersweet finish. Tap at Flying Saucer in Nashville.

On tap at Flying Saucer, Nashville, TN, 4.5.16. Black. Roasty aroma with lots of chocolate milk and cocoa nibs. Bitter, roasty and chocolatey taste. Medium-to-full body, roasty, and bitter but only slightly hoppy finish. Nice but more stout than an IBA. CraftBeerNick (2558) - London Town, Greater London, ENGLAND - JUL 17, 2016
Tap at Flying Saucer, 14th July 16. Pours almost black, aroma is sweet, malts, caramel. Taste is malty, roasty, not enough hops and the palate lacking. OK jandd1983 (4330) - Wentzville, Missouri, USA - JUN 12, 2016

Draft 7/22/15 (Broadway Brewhouse-Franklin)-Pours black with a small head. Aroma of hops, malt, and slight chocolate. Taste of the same with a bit of coffee as well. This medium bodied brew was not bad. gerbewa (253) - - DEC 24, 2015
Growler from sieglers. Supposed to be a black ipa but tasted more like an average stout. weitz15 (585) - Nashville, Tennessee, USA - DEC 20, 2015
Dark brown pour. Heavy carbonation and medium hops, with very little character on the finish. mzaar (3463) - Varberg, SWEDEN - OCT 24, 2015
Fat @ Flying Saucer, Nashville. Mörkt brun med ett stort smutsvitt skum. Dofter av choklad, melass, citrus och rostad malt. Smakinslag av choklad, rostad malt och kåda. Torr munkänsla, medelbeska. decaturstevo (6244) - decatur, Tennessee, USA - OCT 7, 2015
Hazy brown pour with creamy off white head. Aroma is light roasted malt and a touch of citrus. Flavor is sweet malt with an almost molasses kicker. A very good resiny-floral bitter finish. Medium body with food carbonation. A rich sweetness that I can’t put my finger on, still an ok drinker
