Shared this one w/ SkyCop32. Pours a nice medium amber color. Aromas of wheat bread, caramel malts, and a touch of hops. Flavors of caramel, toffee, and a nice smooth finish. Ungstrup (38154) - Citizen of the universe, DENMARK - AUG 9, 2006

Bottled. Didn’t care much for the aroma with just hints of caramel malts and light herbal. Amber color, off-white head, nice lace. Sweet, malty, caramel, bitter, very herbal and dry finish. Boring at first but when warming up and getting used to it, it became actually a very nice beer. The best till now of the German Fest/Weihnachtsbieren I had this year. 500ml bottle: I thought this was a bit of a dud after opening it and having my first sip. It had a bitter metallic taste. But after letting it breathe a few minutes, that disappeared and turned into a very nice beer. Pours deep copper colored with a thick white head. Tastes mildly of malt and hops and a little bit of grape. Very nice finish. A good beer.
