This was a nice Festbier but nothing that blew me away. Pretty traditional to the style and nothing surprising. faroeviking (11119) - Chupando chellas es como ellas, FAROE ISLANDS - APR 15, 2011

Topshelf bottle from Arden Wines. Red gold foaming with white. Unappealingly buttery aroma with good soapy conifer, honey and cork beneath. Buttery richness, caramel popcorn, conifer and marzipan. Did I mention the butter? Caramel afters. Possibly a decent rich malty lager way past it’s prime.
