500ml bottle: I thought this was a bit of a dud after opening it and having my first sip. It had a bitter metallic taste. But after letting it breathe a few minutes, that disappeared and turned into a very nice beer. Pours deep copper colored with a thick white head. Tastes mildly of malt and hops and a little bit of grape. Very nice finish. A good beer. jbrus (4990) - Delft, NETHERLANDS - DEC 26, 2005
Bottled. Didn’t care much for the aroma with just hints of caramel malts and light herbal. Amber color, off-white head, nice lace. Sweet, malty, caramel, bitter, very herbal and dry finish. Boring at first but when warming up and getting used to it, it became actually a very nice beer. The best till now of the German Fest/Weihnachtsbieren I had this year. yespr (44810) - Copenhagen O, DENMARK - FEB 18, 2011
50 cL bottle. Pours clear and golden orange with a small white head. Aroma is roasted malty and caramelish. Malty, roasted and caramelish flavoured. Light bitterness lurking through the caramelish sweet notes. Ends caramelish and light bitter. Ungstrup (37330) - Citizen of the universe, DENMARK - AUG 9, 2006

Bottle 50cl. Clear filtered,copper-coloured brew with firm but quickly disappearing foam. Malty, grainy tastes, just a few hops in the background. Balanced and refreshing brew but not a revelation oldrtybastrd (5002) - Fort Walton Beach, Florida, USA - MAR 31, 2010
Shared this one w/ SkyCop32. Pours a nice medium amber color. Aromas of wheat bread, caramel malts, and a touch of hops. Flavors of caramel, toffee, and a nice smooth finish. DruncanVeasey (8225) - NUNEATON, Warwickshire, ENGLAND - FEB 6, 2014
Topshelf bottle from Arden Wines. Red gold foaming with white. Unappealingly buttery aroma with good soapy conifer, honey and cork beneath. Buttery richness, caramel popcorn, conifer and marzipan. Did I mention the butter? Caramel afters. Possibly a decent rich malty lager way past it’s prime. fonefan (48790) - VestJylland, DENMARK - FEB 22, 2011

Flavor is moderate sweet with a average duration, butter, light caramel, metalic notes. Body is light medium, texture is watery to oily, carbonation is soft.
Clear deep golden colour. Toasted caramel malty aroma. Ok mouthfeel. Flavour is sweet with toasted malt and caramel and lightly spiced.
