COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION

Goldig, klar. Geruch malzig. Geschmack dann bitter zum Ende, karamellig. Leichte Hopfennote. Eher Helles als Pils.

Strange sort of beer. Bottle bought at supermarket, Pfalz/Germany - close to brewery. Straw colour and aroma. Sour sort of taste, slight bitterness from hops. Maybe a hint of bitter lemon?

Grima (2394) - Merzkirchen, RLP, GERMANY - DEC 11, 2012
The beer in the glass is pale yellow and clear, with a soapy, but long-lasting head. It smells malty, grainy, slightly tart, with slight hoppy bitternes. Starts grainy and yeasty, acidic, with a pleasant grassy hop note. The middle part is hoppy-bitter, slightly tart, very grainy and malty. Goes into a grassy hoppy finish with some grain!

0.5 l bottle, thanks Timo A! Bright golden color. Sweetish honeyish aroma with pale bread and hint of citrus. Honeyish and slightly bready flavor with hint of citrus and herbal hops. Some herbal bitterness in finish. Medium body. A bit sharper than Stammhaus-bier.
