(12oz bottle) Large white head atop hazy apple juice body, nice lacing. Aroma is medium sweet, strawberry, some peach, apple. Taste is medium sweet, strawberry, some earthy, light apple. Watery light-medium body, light acidity. j12601 (13297) - Poughkeepsie, New York, USA - JUN 30, 2010
Bottle leftover from camping up at Hill Farmstead. Pours a clear gold with a medium sized creamy white head. Soft hay, a bit of green apple and yeast over some candy sugar. Medium bodied, creamy, a bit of cream ale flavor and some off flavors as well. A bit bitter on the finish. Not bad, not great. Sammy (12967) - Toronto, Ontario, CANADA - APR 9, 2011
Good drinkability though a malt story. Deep golden body with foaming offwhite head. The aromas are a little distracting. Good malts, with a mild hop finish, nicely carbonated. Refreshing on the first warm day of spring. Thanks Jay.

12oz bottle-pours a foamy white head and yellow color. Aroma is grassy/herbal, grain. Taste is grain/hay/cardboard, secondary herbal/spice hops. JoeMcPhee (10129) - Toronto, ON, Ontario, CANADA - JAN 31, 2009
Pale golden colour with a sticky white head. Aroma is softly fruity. Light apricot and a bit of soft spicy hoppiness. Lean pale malt and a bit of grassy/herbal hops over the light crackery malts. Nice soft aroma with a little bit of fruitiness. This sort of reminds me of Coopers Sparkling Ale, with the mix of soft apple and apricot fruitiness and light spicy hoppiness. Soft palate... really quite tasty. AirForceHops (8026) - Epping, New Hampshire, USA - NOV 18, 2016
Fresh 12 ounce can with a date of 10-7-16. Gifted by Chalumeaux. Color is a clear gold with lasting foamy head. Aroma shows pilsner malt, bread, maybe honey. mansquito (7127) - Nueva York, New York, USA - SEP 5, 2011
The flavor is mostly grain with yeast, minor astringency. The body is light but it does have a creamy texture over the tongue. Better if consumed cold but not bad for the style.
Blanchard’s, Allston sixpack ($10.69): Pours a pale golden color with a small white head. Aroma is of a little bit of bread, some straw, and a pleasant amount of hops. Basically, this beer is a refreshing and very crisp golden ale. Moderate amount of hop bitterness, and the hop character is actually pretty well done. Malt backbone is not the fattest thing in the world, but is sufficient for my palate. I thought it was good, though not extraordinary. AshtonMcCobb (7027) - Edinburgh, SCOTLAND - APR 20, 2017
On cask at the Bow Bar.
Appearance - pale yellow with a lacy head.
Nose - floral and lemon.
Taste - sweetish lemon and flowers.
Palate - close to medium bodied with a tangy texture. The finish is sweet and dry at the same time.
Overall - sweeter than the typical golden ale style but enjoyable.
