Cask Aroma grainy cereals and dough. Pours amber. Broken lace. Taste balanced with soured tea predominating. It’s better than it sounds with a lingering earthiness. This is the standard bitter here which I have ignored amidst the rapidly changing guest list. It isn’t bad at all Rune (12944) - Tromsø, NORWAY - MAR 19, 2016
Half-pint, cask at Hand and Heart. Spotty lacing from a filmy layer. Clear golden-brown. Aroma of brown malts and dried fruits. Malt-fruity taste of ripe orange and mid-sweet malts. Drying ending. Okay, rather anonymous (shared with Finn, Nottingham 20.02.2016). Finn (7547) - Tromsø, NORWAY - MAR 4, 2016

Cask conditioned at The Hand & Heart, Nottingham. Gold with white head. There is a light hoppy character to this, flowery, perfumed, kiwi fruit notes with a light citrus. It’s fine. MrBlueSky93 (524) - Nottingham, Nottinghamshire, ENGLAND - APR 7, 2015
Cask at Hand & Heart, Nottingham.
Pours golden with a single finger cream coloured head. Aroma of light malts, orange and some grass. Initial light malty taste, some smokiness is present then orange, lemon and some grassiness, maybe straw...nice.

Cask (handpump) @ GBBF 2012, Great British Beer Festival, London Olympia, Hammersmith Road, London, England W14 8UX.
Clear medium amber orange colour with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white to white head. Aroma is moderate malty, caramel, keller, earthy, light moderate hoppy, fruity. Flavor is moderate to light light heavy sweet and bitter with a average to long duration, fruity, caramel. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft to flat.
Cask at The Old Joint Stock, Birmingham. Poured a clear medium amber with a bubbly white head. The aroma is big malt and fruit. The flavour is weak bitter and a little watery. The malt and fruit are there in the flavour along with some hoppy, grassy notes, but this beer lacks the punch to make it a quality ale. oh6gdx (26487) - Vasa, FINLAND - AUG 21, 2012

Golden colour, small white head. Aroma is fruity, wooden, malty and also has some bready and herbal notes to it. Flavour is fruity, floral, wooden and a bit herbal. Pleasantly balanced.
Jan 2012: Took a risk with this beer: Hand pulled pint into a nonic in a newly opened, refurbished pub, new landlord and the beer is from a brewery I’d never heard of.
The beer was a good clear bronze/dull copper colour, the head a thin covering of small white bubbles.
They have used hops from New Zealand and the US in the brew and the nose was certainly on the hoppy side: the taste was also leaning more towards hops than malts.
Pleasant beer, easy to drink and refreshing, the hops giving a semi-bitter bite and dry finish without completely taking over the taste.
