Mazama Brewery, Draft: WOW! This beer will knock you on your ass if you’re not careful.
Great color. Dark...great texture, thick, but not offensive like some stouts. Just a hint of bourbon, but did not overpower the chocolate and coffee hints. Nor was it too sweet like many baltic porters can be. Just pretty good sipping beer. I recommend it with a meal, or a sipping session on the deck. Thumbs up. Good job boys.

3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
On Tap at the River Room, Whole Foods Boise. Dark brown with a creamy light tan nitro head. Lots of sharp roasty aromas and flavors. Firly dry and lots of dark roast at the end.

3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
On tap at Baileys Taproom. Colour...cloudy, murky dark brown with a thin tan head. Nose...musty oak, light bodied molasses and brown sugared cream. Palate...bursting with booze but not volatile. There’s plenty of oakiness here and a charred oak character to go with the dark brown sugar , maple sugar candy, dark toffee, coffee cream and wet earth. The finish is dry and the Bourbon does linger.
