Corvallis-Belgian Golden Beer (CBGB) is a marriage between ingredients native to Corvallis and Belgium. Belgian yeast, hops bred and cultivated in Corvallis at OSU’s Hop Research program, and malts of both US and Belgian origin converge to create CBGB. Fruity yeast esters dance playfully on the palate with spicy and floral hop flavors. Mt. Hood, Sterling, Santiam, and Cascade hops fight for dominance over the fruity yeast to create a beer that finishes with a dry and hoppy, crisp finish.
