UPDATED: DEC 21, 2013 Mazama Brewery, Draft: This was my favorite beer of the night...being a hop head, that would make sense. This brewery is focusing on Belgian syle beers, and they do good job, but I still will take a good NW IPA when I can find one. Good job guys. Good beer...good slate to choose from. * update...I tried the new batch #4, side by side with batch #3. Significantly better. Crisper, cleaner, better aroma. Kudos to the brewer for making some adjustments. Adjusted my score to compensate.

Pours clear amber with thick head. Fresh clean crisp tropical hop aroma. Bright and lively, crisp on palate with good mouthfeel and hoppy aftertaste. Mango and tropical notes. 6.8% alcohol. 75 IBU. Clean and well balanced. Delicious! ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Orange amber with big white head. Aroma and flavor both are malty enough to make me wonder about the age. Floral, fruit and piney hops are present. Moderate bitterness. Just so so.

UPDATED: NOV 18, 2017 Shared with Strykzone on Facebook Chat. Puurs gold with an off-white head. Nose of caramel malts, tropical fruit, citrus, and melon. Medium body. Flavor is as the aroms and the finish is dank and bitter. Quite good.

Bomber from hayduke that we had together via facebook chat. A golden amber beer that has two fingers of off white foam. An aroma of floral and caramel notes plus tangerine. The flavor is fruity. Tropical varieties with melons. Earth and plenty of sourness. And then tangerine and wheat flavors emerge. Yeast, too. Having this on 4/20 and there is a little dankness going on. An interesting version.

Tap @ Barrel 55: What is this? An American IPA or Belgian IPA? Because it tastes like the latter. It’s pretty good.

Bottle:   Solid IPA, hoppy but not bitter.   Citrus peel, a touch sweet up front, followed by some pith on the backside.   Orangish, nice head and lacing.   Clean, nothing off about this.   Moderate body and mouthfeel.   Pith and citrus peel on the finish.   Nothing earth shattering, but its a solid IPA that goes down easy.   Flavorful without being overly bitter.

Bottle, shared with the brewery boys. Hazy light orange, white head. Lemony, slightly tart hop character, dry bitter finish. Very astringent. Just ok.

Capa (3437) - Kitsap, Washington, USA - OCT 15, 2015
Orange with a tall, off-white head. Fresh and sweet fruity aroma. Some floral backed by citrus backed by sweet malts. Medium bodied. Flavor is more rusty hop/malt profile than the aroma leads one to believe. Some deep resin and citrus hops with doughy caramel to stand it up. Good, full IPA.
