Nice deep amber color capped by a small sized off white heads. Scent trends sweet with caramel, plum, balanced by light grass. Taste is also sweet, caramel, light plum and cherry. Wish the flavors were more pronounced but tasty no the less. Light bodied, yum.

Normal BSA fare, caramel, raisins, candy, dough... Unfortunately a bit on the diabetic side, starting to enjoy that less... what are you hiding? Good carbo and pretty dark amber hue colui72 (986) - HONG KONG - JUN 9, 2017
Pours brown, fizzy, with a medium tan head, some spotty lacing. Aroma of caramel, herbs, dough. Tastes is on the sweet malts side, with caramel, candy and some dark fruits. Full body, creamy, lively carbonation and a bit astringent. Long caramel after taste. Regular dark Belgian, not overly sweet and boozy, tasty. NiklasT (33) - SWEDEN - JUN 1, 2017
Dark red, brown. Aroma caramel, slightly yeasty. High carbonation. Some sweetness and a soft maltiness. Well balanced. Very nice amber/double for someone who typically prefers a triple. One of the best dark beers there is, if you ask me. adamnowek (2644) - Brussels, BELGIUM - MAY 29, 2017
Cola brown colour. Aroma is earthy and malty. Taste is caramel, malt, nuts, orange rind, and cola.

Amber, crèmekleurige volle schuimkraag, lichte waas, veel koolzuur.
Medium body, prikkelig koolzuur, droog bittere afdronk. saintbase (714) - Bydgoszcz, POLAND - MAY 23, 2017

On draft at Three Kings. Very faint bread-like and date aroma, pours opaque deep brown with minimal but frothy head and mild to moderate carbonation which makes it easy on the palate. Taste is initially of dates and prunes, finishes slightly alcoholic, yeasty and oaky. Not as sweet as a dubbel or quad (like I initially expected), and far more complex. This reminds me if a mashup between a brown ale, dubbel, and Saison. Interesting for the palate and flavorful. JorgeLee (2093) - Greater London, ENGLAND - MAY 21, 2017
75cl bottle, Bignens Vins Balexert, shared with Thiru. Lovely bright reddish brown colour, thick slightly off white foam. Very flavoursome, sweet thick fruity malt, some spice, estery. Very high carbonation, fine bubbles. Bitter to balance but no more. All pretty damn tasty. gripweed57 (2314) - Hamilton Square, New Jersey, USA - MAY 20, 2017
From old tasting notes. Cloudy amber, copper color. Small bubbly beige head. Earthy malt nose with a yeasty jolt. Tangy, toasted malt flavor has an intense fruity character. Complex and flavorful.
