Ruby, dark brown from bottle. A light bit of sweet malts and a touch of cardamom. Good Belgian Strong Ale. Would recommend

UPDATED: JAN 13, 2018 Draught taster @ Brasserie Achouffe. Cloudy chestnut brown, beige creamy head. Malty, sweet, brown sugar, metallic; meh. Watery body, low carbonation. anfractuosity (491) - - JAN 3, 2018
Very enjoyable beer. Cloudy brown in colour. Lively carbonation. Toffee/treacle notes in taste. DijkBier (653) - AMSTERDAM, NETHERLANDS - JAN 1, 2018
Drank this already years ago, but never rated it. Bottle pours clear ruby dark brown, with big beige head that falls down quickly. Aroma is mostly dark malts, not so much more... Taste is rather sweet, brown sugar, caramel, and softly bitter; no development towards aftertaste. OK carbo. That's the thing with Achouffe beers: they're nice and easy, but lack special character. vcsa (74) - - DEC 28, 2017

Appearance: Pours unclear dark brown with a off-white head, with lacing.
Aroma: Caramel, malt, yeast and fruit, with hints of hops.
Taste: Malt, caramel and fruit, with yeast and spice notes. No enough hops to compensate the sweetness. Sweet alcoholic warm finish, along with faint bitter notes.
Mouthfeel: Medium bodied, soft carbonated.
