12oz bottle labelled as St. Ambroise Pumpkin pours with a clear deep copper body that supports a thin tan head. The aroma offers up sugary malt sweetness, some sweet ripe red apples and then mild pumpkin and cinnamon like spiciness. The taste starts sugary sweet with malts and sweet fruitiness that takes on a pumpkin to apple like sense. Behind those notes murmurs some nutmeg and cinnamon spices that deliver a bit of a punch here and there and then fade into the finish and linger softly for a while. This seems so so as it doesnt really come together all that well.

Bottled as St. Ambroise Pumpkin, screw-top. Nose is spice soup, sweet with lots of nutmeg and allspice, lesser mint in with actual pumpkin character down low. Pour is a beautiful deep mahogany with rays of red and orange, slow carbonation but a noisy fizz form a soapy beige head. Taste very sweet, pleasant perfume character but a thin light body with little malt to support, low bitterness with a little more in the aftertaste after the artificial spice train has passed. Way overdone, boys!

La grande bire la citrouille is one of the most aromatic beers made, serve in a goblet and give it time to open up. Pours a beautiful clear red-orange, with small-moderate head that quickly reduces to thin surface lace. Aroma of a holiday kitchen: pumpkin and dark fruits, spices, vanilla. Prominent spicy pumpkin on the tongue with brown sugar note, but not overly sweet. Smooth, light and fizzy, with restrained dry but not harsh finish. Festive enough for celebrations, but 5 percent ABV makes it sessionable throughout the season.

I started this late summer on a shitty pumpkin beer streak and was getting discouraged. But it turned around and I remember why I look forward to the season. Good spice flavor with plenty of pumpkin coming through. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Pours a clear orangish amber with with a small off white head that dissipates quickly into a ring. Aroma of pumpkin, cinnamon, nutmeg, allspice, cereal and sweet bready malts. Taste is pumpkin pie, cinnamon, toasted malts and nutmeg. Perfect balance and a nice spiciness to it... Really enjoy this pumpkin beer year after year.

Draft pour at Special Brews. Finally joining the pumpkin party. Couple weeks later than the rest but whos counting. Pours a deep red color with a thin, filmy head and lace. Sugar and pumpkin aroma. Really sweet "holiday" flavor with pumpkin and a touch of spice. Kinda tastes like a gingerbread cookie. Very easy drinking, super festive pumpkin ale. I enjoyed this for sure.
