Wenig malziger und dumpf kürbisartiger Antrunk. Wenig herb im Mittelteil, dazu wenig süß. Nicht übermäßig aromatisch, im hinteren Teil auch lasch. Hier wässrig, dunkel hopfig. Ok. 7/6/7/7/6/7

341mL bottle, pours a clear copper orange with a medium beige head. Aroma of pumpkin pie, nutmeg and cinnamon – pretty standard pumpkin ale aroma. Flavour of pumpkin puree, and only a mild presence of nutmeg and cinnamon, finishes pretty soft , on the pumpkin puree notes. Easy-drinking, standard, but well-made pumpkin ale. I’ve had a few pumpkin ales and this is the best - sublime balance, gorgeous sweet malts, lively spicing. It is the Buffalo Bill’s Pumpkin Ale brewed under contract, but they don’t call it that because Canadian’s don’t know who Bill Owens is. I find it better than the same beer made by Portland Brewing.

Bottle - Flowery, spicy and pumpkin. Strong aroma, but the flowery nose is quite pleasant. Very spicy, but sweetness is not overpowering. A nice pumpkin beer. bhensonb (15188) - Woodland, California, USA - DEC 18, 2011
Bottle as St. Ambroise Pumpkin from Malt & Vine. Purs ruddy copper with a 2 finger foamy off- white head. Pie spice aroma. Smells much more like pumpkin pie than many. Med body. It’s really spicy. Liquid pumpkin pie. What else can be said? Ratman197 (14822) - Arvada, Colorado, USA - DEC 29, 2016
