Bottle. I love pumpkin beers but this is by far the worst I've had recently. It tastes fruity to me-not like a pumpkin pie or flavored like that at all. Would avoid this all day. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

22-10-2017; botle; at home (bought at Saveur Bière, as part of their October discovery box). The looks of the beer are fine. Not to special, but nice. It looks like most Pumpkin Ales. The color of the beer is amber brown, or dark orange. The beer is crystal clear. On top a rather rough layer of foam is formed. Foam retention is rather low. Hardly anything is left after a few seconds. The smell of the beer is nice. It is not the strongest smelling Pumpkin Ale, but it sure is nice. It is a nice spicy, sweet aroma, that clearly is an autumn smell. I smell pumpkin, cinnamon, ginger, nutmeg, hints of clove, some bitter but fresh hops and a lovely caramel malt touch. I love the selection of spices in combination with the pumpkin. Lovingly gentle. It's great. The taste is of the same quality. Lovely caramel malty touch, sweet pumpkin, strong spiciness from the cinnamon, nutmeg, cloves and ginger. They are lovely, quite gentle, but still nice. The beer is lovingly balanced. Nice. The palate of the beer is also nice. Medium body, smooth texture and medium carbonation. The finish of the beer is very nice. It is filled with pumpkin and spice, but also some nice alcohol. I like it a lot. Nice.

On tap @ Canuck Club. Pours a clear, dark orange/Amber with a small off white head. Aromas are bready, molasses, and a little spice (cinnamon). Tastes are spice dominant with nutmeg and cinnamon with a light sweet overtone. Light to medium body, assertive carbonation and a medium spicy finish. ---Rated via Beer Buddy

Bottle from Saveur bières.com. Amber color, white head. Cinnamon, ginger, winter spices. Not my thing

Tallboy from LCBO. Pours a pretty large foamy beige head and has an amber appearance. Ok lacing. Moderate carbonation. Great retention. Strong aromas of pumpkin spice, nutmeg and cinnamon. Flavours are most notably the pumpkin spice, but also with some nutmeg and cinnamon, cloves, similar to aroma, it's all there and actually balances out so the pumpkin spice is not too overpowering. Still some sweetness but not like other pumpkin beers I've had. This has the right level and is moderate in the spice department, as in I could have it one after another rather than be or off by it, again like others rated. Pretty good!

Ar: Bright and bold pumpkin spice--nutmeg, clove, and a hint of cinnamon; caramel and toast dessert crusts. Ap: Deep amber-mahogany; clear; small tan head with poor retention, leaving a spritz-looking ring of medium-small bubbles and a little central nebula. T: Ginger, nutmeg, cinnamon, and clove; medium-light sweetness; spices are bright but not at all sharp; deep caramel and biscuit; graham crackers; bitterness is medium-low, not much hop flavor gets through, just a bit of herbalness; finish is drying nutmeg, clove, and a touch of raisin. P: Full-bodied with medium-high carbonation; finish is medium-dry. O: I like this pumpkin ale a lot; great spice mix and presentation, very assertive, yet balanced, and fresh; malt character is rich and deep; holding up well to the spices.

Glorious aroma of pumpkin spice entices immediately! Pours a clear deep orangey-brown colour with little head. Combines the toasty/malty flavours of a good ale with the taste of pumpkin and the spice lingers on the finish. Love this one! So seasonal and festive! ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Where Purchased: 473ml can from the LCBO Consumed: from the can Aroma: Smells spicy and pumpkins. Appearance : not sure. Consumed from can Taste: very well balanced. Lots of spice and pumkin notes mixed with a good malty ale. Palate :medium body. Somewhat sweet aftertaste. Good carbonation. Overall: not my favourite style of beer, but this was one of the best I've had. Everything was in balance. Quality beer. I was glad to try and would buy again. MB. The Beer "Bear"on.

Appearance: Wow, extremely carbonated with like a zillion little bubbles that keep rising up and a thick bubbling head. Unsettling a little but still nice to look at. A hazy orange-brown with some red in it rounds things off. Smell: Major whiff of ginger and some hops. A nice malty background but the spices dominate here. I get some mint in there also. It smells like a fresh breath of air though a tad too polished. Taste: Pumpkin spice and ginger with a bit of hop bitterness but otherwise has a kind of abrupt finish. Better as it warms with a mesh of spices but tastes a tiny bit artificial. Mouthfeel: Not as aggressive on the carbonation as i would have thought though it is up there. Medium body that wears thin near the end.

Bottle poured a clear reddish amber with a small lasting creamy amber head. Aromas of caramel, nutmeg, clive and light cinnamon. Palate was medium bodied and smooth with a dry finish. Flavors of caramel, clove, cinnamin and nutmeg with a smooth dry lingering spiced finish.
