Our artisan in charge created the Stoke Bomber Bohemian Ale to straddle the ale/lager debate perfectly. Everyone will enjoy the interaction of wheat and lightly roasted barley with the lively citrus and pepper flavours. The ale team will promote its rich golden hue, fully rounded mouthfeel and engaging honeyed malt complexity. The lager camp will insist that the spicy hop emphasis is classic Bohemian. Bottle. I thought this a little flabby. Aiming for drinkability, but just needs a little more challenge.

Thick hazy Amber with heavy off white head that lasted half the pint glass. Not much to smell with a light to decent strength taste. A good meat and potatoes ale that I'll buy it again. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

(Bottle) Hazy amber with slightest hint of head. Slight aroma of grain with some candy and grassy hints. Light body with reasonable carbonation. Quite fruity start - stone fruit - with some somewhat harsh bitterness developing. Not great.

From a bottle. Pours clear gold, grassy aroma, thin head, resinous mouth feel with a hint of malt, big grapefruit after-taste.

Pours golden color with a medium head. Malty, a bit bready aroma. Rather thin malt body with a nice bitter finish. I would love a slightly maltier body. Good carbonation

Good beer, only bought it as half price ($4 AUD for a 650ml bottle) Lovely aroma, taste like an ipa, decent ale, wouldn’t pay full price for it tho. but at half price was double the flavour and less cost than any other aussie crap lager in the bottle shop tho. Carbonation a bit high to nitpick, but still a verty nice drop

Bottle with Dad. Aroma is light malt, crystal malt, some citrus hops, a bit of a wet cardboard thing going on. Taste is crystal malt, vague tropical fruit hops, a bit soapy. A little too sweet for the style too in my opinion. Not bad just a bit unrefined.

The head is ok, the body gold. It smells malty, hoppy, citrus. The taste is hoppy, malty, aromatic, fruity-citrus. Nice 3.5

660mL bottle Clean pale gold body. Holds a decent inch of white foam. Light hop driven aroma; citrus, floral herbs and spice, combine with light pilsner-like maltiness. The slightest hint of bready yeast character. Dry, reasonably light bodied on the palate. Moderate carbonation. Hop flavours again dominate on the body; Citrus leaf, unripe honeydew melon, guava, supported by cereal wheat and cracker biscuit malts with just the faintest hint of corny DMS. Lingering grassy hop bitterness is refreshingly prominent. Nice easy drinking beer - certainly get their idea of combining a Pilsner with an NZPA; good combo.

Slightly cloudy, aroma has some spicy hops and slight stone fruit too. A clean palate, light to medium, good bitterness. An easy summer drinking ale.
