Not bad, slightly disappointing, was expecting better. caramel, minimal head, clear, pale, oily feel, soft carbonation, Muggus69 (2659) - Yarram, Vic, AUSTRALIA - OCT 5, 2013
Pours an amber body, reasonable clarity, with a small offwhite head.
Subdued aroma; toffee, biscuity malt, some earthy hop.
Medium body, moderate carbonation, somewhat oily in texture.
Light toffee malts continue on the body, bit of nuttiness, with earthy, woody hop spice. Firm bitterness on a shortish finish.
Bit disappointing, certainly didn’t deliver the NZ hop character I was expecting. kiwianer (3428) - Otorohanga, NEW ZEALAND - SEP 22, 2013
The head is ok, the body brown. It smells hoppy, aromatic, sweet, malty, nice!. The taste is hoparomatic, sweet, hoppy, fruity, biit bitter flowry. Ok 12/11/11/11/-/11 varanid99 (1315) - AUSTRALIA - SEP 4, 2013
Pours murky red gold with no head. Aroma is lots of malt, a little biscuit. Taste is malty, bitter orange - a fairly long but not overly bitter finish. Pretty nice drinking Shawley (5) - Gold Coast, AUSTRALIA - AUG 7, 2013 does not count
Not an American but a kiwi style IPA. Biscuits and stone fruits with a hint of citrus and pepper that finishes with a slight sweet bitter hit. Good beer,

(Bottle) Cloudy amber with nice dense fine head. Surprisingly little aroma, but pleasant: slightly hoppy. Lovely palate, very smooth and creamy from very fine carbonation. The taste starts with hops overlaying some pleasant, but not oversweet, caramel maltiness. Very nice bitter finish - good prominent hop bitterness, without searing the taste-buds.
A good IPA with hops all the way, but not overwhelmed by them. Oakes (18517) - Vancouver, British Columbia, CANADA - MAY 10, 2013
Made w/ wai-iti hops, which presumably means "little water" Cloudy amber w thin amber. Fruit nose w light ginger, marmalade, and lots of rich, earthy caramel malt. Rich bitterness collides with earthy crystal malt... The hops lose their aromatic subtlety, but the bitterness lingers well into the finish.
