For an "IPA" there isnt much hop flavor to speak of, more malt flavor. amber colored pour and really not much bitter flavor. a disappointment. Moz (613) - Gothenburg, SWEDEN - APR 8, 2007
Bottle. Dark amber colour with a small white head. Rather sweet aroma with toffee & caramel. Taste is malty with some discreet hops. Quite low bitterness. jetzler (622) - oklahoma city, Oklahoma, USA - MAR 31, 2007
Bottle, really this is a bitter, hmm seems to fall short quite a bit, guess thats just the brewery. Watery taste, but a darker color. Little head , and no lacing. no hops to speak of. Pretty boring not very good. undsioux7 (876) - Eden Prairie, Minnesota, USA - MAR 3, 2007
A pretty basic unispired bitter that I can’t even describe since it is so plain. I am unispired to even writh anything about this. faroeviking (11211) - Chupando chellas es como ellas, FAROE ISLANDS - MAR 1, 2007
Bottle. Brown amber with a faor head. Malty and hoppy aroma. Thye flavour has a nice hoppiness, good maltiness,
slight sourish and with a little nuttiness.
Bitter finish. Not an IPA at all.

brownish pale copper color, slightly cloudy & glossy. very short light tan head that disappears quickly. aroma is a little bit like simple sugar syrup/honey water, and light malt. flavor is mild to weak peaty malt, some light tea and faint caramel malt. hops not so strong, body is mostly watery. I don’t understand why they call this an IPA. spector (906) - Lancaster, Ohio, USA - FEB 11, 2007
Very slight hops in the aroma.Pours a reddish color with a thin white head.Slight malt and a touch of hops in the flavor.Very thin mouthfeel with a slight malt finish. This one might have been past its prime. hammerbeck (101) - Kentucky, USA - DEC 29, 2006
Not very hoppy for an IPA, but there was a hint of floral IPA hops, but only just. IPAs in my mind should have a bolder hop finish, and this was nothing more than a malty Scottish ale with some extra hops thrown in at the end of the boil. HarmonKill-a-Brew (407) - Wilmar, Arkansas, USA - NOV 7, 2006
Surprisingly simular to their scotch ale... although not as heavy and not as dark in color. MALTY! biggmike (482) - Hattiesburg, Mississippi, USA - NOV 2, 2006
Not bad, but nothing like what I expected. I thought my beer had been mislabeled until I read others comments. Tasted and looked more like an Octoberfest than IPA. Brown in color with little head, lower alcohol content, and no hoppy bitterness. This is nothing like an IPA. Still, it was pretty drinkable.
