A fun summer collaboration brewed with our good friends at Huss Brewing! This margarita-inspired American strong ale was made with both lime and orange zest, making it refreshingly citrusy while still packing quite a punch.
UPDATED: SEP 24, 2016 Draft at brewpub. Beers like this often turn out in disaster. This turned out well, and better than I expected. It?s "inspired by a margarita " rather than trying to be a "margarita beer". Unique. Interesting. Enjoyable for a sip and chat.
Golden orange pour with small white head. Aroma of malts, lemon citrus, orange and caramel. Taste of malts, caramel, yeast, tart lime, orange peel and boozy. Full bodied, medium carbonation, sweet and tart and delicious all at the same time, great interesting beer for sure!
Tap at the source. Pours clear orange, not much head. Aroma is tons of lemon lime, smells like sprite. Margarita inspired Indeed! Flavor is wow, lemon lime, and wow that’s boozy. And the 9.5% explains it. It’s cool.
