This popular light lager is the lightest of the McGuire's beers. Even though McGuire's Light is crafted like the finest European beer, the flavor is similar to an American style Pilsner Beer. This beer is low in calories and will compliment any meal

Tap. Gold in color with a medium head. Aroma was grains and kind of weak. Taste was also weak with grain flavor with a bitter finish.

oldrtybastrd (5228) - Fort Walton Beach, Florida, USA - MAY 4, 2016
Pours a nice light golden yellow. Aromas of hops, grass, and maybe corn. Taste is crisp with a nice mellow hop flavor. Still better than Bud/Coors/Miller light products.

liquidbread86 (172) - Washington DC, USA - AUG 17, 2014
Eh. Reminds me of a lighter Hofbrau. Probably the best beer at McGuire’s, but nothing special.

BVery (11361) - Plymouth, Minnesota, USA - NOV 23, 2012
Tap at McGuires in Destin. Pale lager, buttery and grain. Better than BMC but not great.

BeerandBlues2 (13806) - Escondido, California, USA - JUL 21, 2012
Tap. Pours clear gold with a medium, fizzy white head with short retention and spare lacing. Aroma is pils malt, light corn notes with spicy hops. Flavor is malt dominant with medium hops and bitterness and a dry finish. Light body and medium carbonation.

bytemesis (9191) - Sunnyvale, California, USA - JUL 17, 2012

Not bad- honestly tastes like your typical BMC, but I guess that’s the point.

keepersj12 (3137) - Sicklerville, New Jersey, USA - JAN 24, 2012
Very good for a pale lager. It has the characteristics of a good German Pilsner. Light in all aspects but very refreshing and easy drinking.

csaso (2321) - Missouri, USA - JUL 26, 2011
Tap at McGuire’s in Destin - very pale straw color, light flavor, mild bitterness. Pretty basic, but not bad.

drowland (9054) - Georgia, USA - FEB 6, 2011
2/3/11. On tap at the Destin location. Clear golden pour with a fizz of white head. Horrifying sweet buttery aroma with a terrible, terrible buttery cereal filled flavor. This is like Wheaties drizzled in butterscotch syrup. This is terrible.
